What is Aap Ki Pasand ?

We are India's oldest gourmet tea retailers. We launched in 1981 at Old Delhi and currently operate 12 retail stores in India. Please refer to our Iconic Tea Stores Page To Know more

What is SANCHA Tea then ?

SAN-CHA is the brand of tea our company Aap Ki Pasand sells and we operate most of our retail stores under the SAN-CHA Tea Boutique monicker. The Aap Ki Pasand Tea Gallery is the one and only one at Old Delhi (Our heritage store).

Where are your teas from ?

We source our teas from all parts of India from certified tea estates in Kangra, Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri & Sikkim. We also import some select lines from China, Taiwan & Japan.

Are your teas Organic ?

Some of the selections are Organic and that is clearly communicated in the product listing. All our teas are EU Compliant and grown under the strict vigil of the Tea Board of India. Our factory is audited under the Rainforest Alliance & Organic Standards.

Do you use artificial flavour or are they natural ?

We blend our teas with only natural herbs, spices & flowers. Our teas are rich in nutrients and 100% healthy. Its what we believe in, its what we are proud of.

Are the teas suitable for a Vegan or Keto Diet ?

Yes, the teas are 100% Vegan and grown naturally. Teas contain a very small amount of Carbohydrate and they will suit most diets that prescribe low carbohyrdrates.

What about allergies? Can i be allergic to the tea or do i need to read the ingredients ?

All blends are different and they contain different ingredients. You will need to read the label and check if it contains an ingredient that you are allergic to. Usually none of teas contain any ingredient that fall under the prescribed Allergen list.

Does the tea contain Nicotine ?

No, not at all. This is a rumour that holds no truth. Tea contains Caffeine & Theanine which are are good for you.

Does Orange Pekoe Tea contain the fruit Orange ?

Orange pekoe actually refers to the cut of the leaf, a term usually used for Orthodox/Long Leaf variety of teas. This has nothing to do with oranges. It was probably given the name orange pekoe because of the orange liquor the tea leaves produced when you brew them.

Are Black teas bad for health and green tea good for heath ?

Health scientists who have studied tea believe that all forms of tea coming from the tea plant- Camellia Sinenses contain rich amounts of Antioxidants and black & green teas are both equally healthy.

Does Drinking too much tea makes you unhealthy ?

Its how you consume it that makes it healthy or unhealthy. On its own, tea is an extremely healthy beverage. If we add too much sugar to the tea or any syrup (like we do in commercially sold Iced Teas), that's when we make the tea unhealthy.

Is tea better than coffee ?

We think it is ! Tea contains lower levels of caffeine (just enough to keep you awake without making your jittery) and in addition to that, it contains a compound called Theanine that relieves stress, think clearer & puts you in a calm state of mind.

Tea with milk is a bad idea ?

Not at all. Some teas blend well with milk and it balances out the bitter tannins. Some teas are to be consumed straight. There are no rules, just different types of teas and different ways of enjoying them. For example a Darjeeling wouldn't be the best bet with Milk but you would appreciate it in your Assam.

What information do I need to provide for an order?

Once you decide to checkout, our website software will lead you through a series of steps where you will be asked to provide us your
delivery details, phone number, email address and make the payment.

How much does Shipping cost?

We charge a flat USD 10 as shipping fee for orders that are valued below USD 39 and Free Shipping on all orders above USD 39.

Do you have a distributor in my country?

Please do ask us over the Whatsapp chat option provided on our website and you will be linked directly to our head office during business hours. They will ask you, your country name and provide you the distributor details if we are present in your country. Is the product in stock?

If our website is showing that  the product is ‘Out of Stock’ then you won't be able to add it your shopping cart. Any product that can be added to the Shopping Cart is available in Stock.

What are your shipping and handling charges?

Can I have a pro-forma invoice?

Once you have placed the order on our website, you will receive a copy of the invoice over the email address you have provided. A copy of the invoice will also accompany your order in the shipping box when your order is shipped.

How will I know if my order has been received?

Once you have completed placing the order on our website, you will be redirected to page that will showcase your entire order details and order number. Additionally, you will also receive an email with your order invoice as soon as the order has been placed.

How do I cancel my order?

You can request us to cancel an order if it has not been shipped
(usually, we will ship your order within 24 hours of receipt of the order). Please get in touch with us over email by sending an email to webboutique@sanchatea.com or simply Whatsapp us on the chat messenger provided on our website.

What payment methods can I use?

Is VAT charged?

In India we have a tax charged on our products and it is  called a GST Tax. This tax is already included in the price you are paying for our products.

How can I change delivery address?

If you have already placed the order and you wish to change
the delivery address, please do email us on webboutique@sanchatea.com or
Whatsapp us on +919818106932 and we will have our team change the details.  Please do ensure that you contact us within
24 hours of the order being placed as we usually will ship your order based on
the order details received within 24 hours of receipt of an order. 

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

When will my order ship?

Once we receive your order, your order is dispatched by our dispatch team within 24 hours of receipt of the order (on business days). Once dispatched, you will receive an email notification with the courier companies name and tracking number.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world with the no Shipping charges over the purchase of 39USD and above. Please Refer to our Shipping policy to know more.

How are my order shipped?

Your order is either shipped via DHL or India Post depending upon your country of residence and the service area coverage of DHL & India Post.

When will my order arrive?

If your order has been dispatched over DHL, you can expect to receive your order within 3-5 days. In case we have dispatched the order over India Post, your order will arrive with you in 14-20 days.

why hasn't my order arrived?

Please do kindly track your order using the tracking number provided to you once we have shipped the order. In case you find that the order has remained stranded in 1 location for more than 2 days, we request you to inform us (our team also constantly tracks the shipments made by us).

Why did I get charged an extra fee from Shipping company?

You will never be charged extra by the shipping company as they are paid directly by us.
When the teas arrive in your country the customs department in your country may charge a tax/duty and the shipping company may ask you to pay the same to them and they will go and pay the customs department on your behalf.

Which countries do you ship to?

We are shipping all over the world. In case you feel your country is in a remote location and may not be serviced by us. I request you to go ahead and send us an email on webboutique@sanchatea.com and we will be pleased to check for you.

what is your refund policy?

Once the teas have been shipped, we do not offer any refunds on cancellation of the order.
In case you would like to cancel an order you have placed, please do connect with our team on webboutique@sanchatea.com within 24 hours of placing the order.

I ordered the wrong product. What should I do?

If you have placed an incorrect order, please do not worry.
Please email us within 24 hours of placing the order and we will be pleased to amend your order.

Can I return the product to delivery person?

No unfortunately you cannot return the product to the delivery person as we ship from India.
To send back the product to India, you will have to incur a high cost of shipping and for that you will first need to make a fresh booking with a freight company/courier. Refer to the Return & Refund Policy Page

My product was damaged upon arrival. what should I do?

In case of an unfortunate event of you receiving a damaged product. Please do kindly take photographs of the courier box received from all angles and also an image of the damaged product received with the shipping label shown. This will help us file a claim with the shipping company for the same. Refer to the Shipping & Returns Policy Page

How do create an account?

Creating an account with us is fairly easy. All you need to do is follow the instructions on checkout to create an account before you pay for your order.

You can also create an account on our homepage by clicking on the Account button on the top right corner of the homepage.

How can I retrieve my password?

Don’t worry if you have forgotten or misplaced your password. Simply click on the Forgot Password button whilst logging in and our website will send you an email recovery email on your registered email address. Just follow the steps and create a new password.

How do I change my personal details or email address?

Once logged into your account, you can edit your shipping address & phone number. To change your email address, you will need to create a new account with us.

Can I do guest checkout?

Yes, you can checkout as a guest on our website. When you have filled your cart and are proceeding towards checkout, you will be asked if you would like to checkout as a guest.
